Best Web Browsers Apps for Android

Web browsers are the most important software that you need to browse the internet. But, there is not one but many web browsers out there. You have to choose one of those as per your taste and requirement.

  1. Chrome

Chrome is one of the best web browsers for Android especially if you browse a lot. The simple interface and sync feature make this browser very easy to use and manage user data like bookmarks and history. Chrome is my personal favorite on the desktop as well as my Android Smartphone. The browser also supports multiple transition animations while switching tabs and opening new tabs. However, there are few things that are missing from Chrome like text reflow and support for the extension. But we can expect these futures from Google in the near future.

  1. Firefox

One of the oldest web browsers is now available on Android, and it is doing pretty well in terms of gaining good reviews on play store. Best features of Firefox for Android are support for addons/extensions and reading mode. Reading mode allows reading the text of any webpage in a neat and clutter-free environment. Firefox has support for a theme which does nothing but allows the setting custom image in the background of web browser (address bar and home). Overall the browser is good, but I felt it a bit slow as compared to Chrome and Dolphin HD.

  1. Dolphin Browser

Dolphin Browser is a Chrome desktop lookalike browser with a lot of features and addons. Dolphin Browser’s Gestures and sidebars make Web surfing fast, intuitive and fun. Dolphin makes mobile browsing easy, adapting to the way you want to browse with a personalized home screen, voice and gesture control, customizable settings and sharing features. It has its own Web App Store with more than 200 web apps including Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, Amazon and more. It has simplest Tabbed browsing which allows toggling between screens with just a single tab.

  1. Opera

Opera is the most popular brand among the mobile browsers with a wide variety of device support. Opera is Fast and easy to use with the simple yet intuitive interface. It has a Discover feature which provides the personal news feed. Opera’s integrated download manager is one of the best as compared to its rivals. It allows a start, stop, resume, save and rename the media files you keep on your phone with its download manager.

  1. ONE Browser

One Browser is Apple’s Safari lookalike browser with so many new features and speeds up tweaks. ONE Browser is lightweight easy to use. It provides Picture compression and website optimization with 85% traffic saving, especially in 2G network. So, if you have low data rates, this is the one for you. The latest update also included Dual engines mode which automatically switches for better page display. Other features include Page Capture, Font Size Customization, skin support and HTML5 support.

I hope you would have enjoyed these 5 best web browsers for Android. I’m currently using Chrome on my Moto G 5.
